The Oakman Group Inc. “The Oakman Group” recognizes the importance of privacy and the sensitivity of personal information. We are committed to protecting any personal information we hold. The Privacy policy was developed to comply with two federal privacy laws, the Privacy Act and the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Document Act. The Oakman Group Inc. will give individuals the right to see and ask for corrections to information that may have been collected about them.

We may on occasion obtain information about you from other sources; your insurance company, banking institution, employer, accountant or other consultants retained by you to assist you with legal or financial matters

The Oakman Group Inc. protects your privacy. We have in place strict policies and procedures to keep private the personal information of individuals.. The Oakman Group Inc. will only share such personal information with its affiliates, clients, and other third parties with whom or which it conducts business, and in other ways permitted by law. The information primarily includes financial information, however may include personal history.

Any information provided by The Oakman Group may only be used for the purposes of which it was intended, whether originally or by amendment, or as permitted by law. The Oakman Group may disclose information to third parties as allowed or mandated by law such as responses to subpoenas or court orders, or to prevent fraud, or to comply with an inquiry by a government agency or regulator, or creditor.

The Oakman Group Inc. will not share personal information with outside marketing agents.

The Oakman Group’s treatment and protection of personal information goes beyond its relationship with its clients and employees. Should the relationship with a client, employee or vendor end, The Oakman Group Inc. will not share or disclose the information to third parties without consent except as law permits or compels.

Our website (www.oakmangroup.com) contains links to other sites which are not governed by this privacy policy. In the continuing development of our website we may provide aggregated information to third parties, but these statistics do not contain any identifiable personal information.
